Outfit 014

Well, hello there.

It's been a while since I last wrote a blogpost, and it feels good to be back. I'm kicking things off with an outfit post, but I have a fair few longer chattier posts in the pipeline now that I’ve finished my Master's and got a lot more time on my hands! Let me know if there's anything specific you would like to see from me in the comments though.

In this outfit I'm pushing the limits of transitional dressing. Zak and I went up north for the weekend to go to his parents' 25th Vow Renewal (yes, I teared up a little) and took a few hours out beforehand to drive up and around the Lake District, as I'd never done it properly before. It was absolutely stunning, but bad visibility meant pictures of the landscape didn't come out too great. I'd love to go again when it's a little less misty and rainy.

I'm wearing this snake print shirt dress from ASOS, which I bought in a 4 but it did end up being quite long (I pulled back the collar a bit for these shots), so that's something to bear in mind. I think it's sold out currently, actually, but it will most likely come back as it seemed popular! I'm also wearing my new favourite boots, I honestly cannot take them off I'm wearing them with ~everything~. They are the Dr. Martens Jadon in a vintagey green, I'm going to link you to them on their website here, because I think they have a few more sizes. And finally I'm wearing this very early noughties leather jacket from MOSS which I've been getting a lot of use out of recently as it's quite nice and light compared to other similar ones.

So that's it for now! I will see you guys very soon ❤️
